The Clerk is responsible for voter registration and conducting all local, State and Federal elections. The Clerk of Sylvan Township also serves as the Freedom of Information Act Coordinator, and collaborates with the sexton of Maple Grove Cemetery.

Register to vote online or register in person at the Clerk’s Office, located inside the Sylvan Township Hall, at 18027 Old US Highway 12, during regular business hours: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Bring a photo id (driver’s license or state-issued id). If your driver’s license doesn’t include your most recent address, bring a piece of mail such as a utility bill or bank statement to establish your residency in this jurisdiction.

A burial lot cost is $800.00 per lot and each lot can accommodate 1 full burial and/or 2 cremation burials.
